Wroclaw–Copernicus Airport is located 12km southwest of the centre of Wroclaw in southwestern Poland. The airport is connected 350km from Warsaw via autostrada A8 and expressway S8. It serves about 2 million passengers annually. It serves a variety of domestic and European locations, with seasonal flights to destinations including Bodrum, Sharm el-Sheikh, and numerous European holiday resorts.
Wroclaw has much in common with the larger Krakow, offering similar cultural attractions and entertainment, but the capital of Lower Silesia and Poland's fourth-largest city also adds its own unique characteristics. A mixture of Bohemian, Austrian and Prussian influences, the city has a distinctive architectural and cultural profile, represented by its magnificent market square. Set on the Odra River, with its many islands and bridges, the surroundings are beautiful, and the meticulously preserved ecclesiastical district will charm anyone with an interest in Gothic architecture.
