Car Hire Paris Orly Airport
Paris Orly Airport is an international airport located partly in Orly and partly in Villeneuve-le-Roi, 19km south of Paris, France. It operates flights to cities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean, North America and Southeast Asia. Before Charles de Gaulle Airport was built, Orly was the principal airport in Paris, and, even with the transfer of most international flights to CDG, Orly is the busiest French airport for domestic traffic and France's second-busiest airport overall, with some 27 million annual passengers.
First called Villeneuve-Orly Airport, the facility opened in the southern suburbs of Paris in 1932 as a back-up airport to Le Bourget. It now extends across 15.3km2. Access to Orly Airport is via the A106 autoroute (extension of the A6 autoroute). Consult your Nova Car Hire booking confirmation document for details of the location and opening hours of your rental car supplier.
It's easy to feel overwhelmed when you pick up your Paris rental car and embark on your first trip to the city: Virtually every inch is crammed with historically or culturally significant details. Among the Paris sights that really have to be seen are the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame. Of course, with car hire in Paris, you are free to get out of the city and drive to attractions just outside the capital, including Versaille, Disneyland Paris, and the Loire Valley.
