La Gomera –Stunning landscapes and glorious sandy beaches

La Gomera is the second smallest of the Canary Islands – at it's widest point it's only 22km. With pleasant temperatures from January right through to December (22 °C - 27 °C) it attracts visitors all year round.

The capital of La Gomera is the port town of San Sebastian. About a 2 hour drive from here is Valle Gran Rey – La Gomera's main beaches can be found here – and the scenery along the way makes it well worthwhile.  

Extending over 40 km2 Garajonay National Park can be found in the centre of the island. It became a national park in 1981 and was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1986. The picturesque fishing village of Playa Santiago in the south of the island is also well worth checking out.
