Despite its reputation, Ibiza is not just the clubbing capital of Europe. With its balmy temperatures year-round, superb sandy beaches, and shallow swimming areas, it is also one of the safest and most appealing Mediterranean holiday resorts for families. Train Trips
Dragging little ones around on sightseeing tours can be more hassle than it’s worth, but what’s not to like about a fun train ride around the island? The northern part of Ibiza has some of the island’s most scenic and interesting landscapes, and the
Ibiza Tourist Train runs a variety of entertaining trips. Some resorts will actually transport you back and forth between your accommodation and the resort centres.
Play Parks
Most resorts have playgrounds, but the best are in Playa d'en Bossa (think carousels and bouncy castles), San Antonio Bay (highlights include a cart track, fun fairs, and trampolines), and Cala Llonga (located on the beach with a soft sandy floor). Trampolines, climbing frames, games, slides, and plenty of safe, enclosed space mean tired, happy kids (and, consequently, happy parents). Even older children will enjoy the fun, particularly at the fun fair in San Antonio.
Watersports
Not surprisingly, Ibiza is a haven for watersports, including diving, windsurfing, sailing, parasailing, banana-boating, and pedalos. You will find excellent
watersports facilities at S’Argamassa beach, Playa d'en Bossa beach, Santa Eulalia beach (Mariners), several of the beaches along the Bay of San Antonio, Es Cana beach, Portinatx, and Cala Vadella. For man-made aquatic fun, the Aguamar Water Park in Playa d'en Bossa is a magnet for families, with a variety of slides and pools to play with. Holidaymakers staying at the

Kart Tracks
For something a bit different, there are two karting tracks on Ibiza.
Go Karts Santa Eulalia on the Sta Eularia – Ibiza road, offers three categories of cart, for over-3’s, over-7’s, and adults. Karting San Antonio within walking distance of San Antonio town centre, offers a Formula 1 experience for children from four years, as well as adults and groups.
Bowling
Have a fun night out with all the family at the Bowling Centre in Playa d'en Bossa. There are four high-tech bowling lanes, a pool table, games machines, and an air table, as well as trampolines, mini golf, and a bucking bull. You can also enjoy a great value family meal here.
