About Cala Ratjada, Mallorca
The holiday resort of Cala Ratjada is located on the north east coast of the Spanish island of Mallorca. It's situated in the Capdepera region which boasts 42km of rugged beaches with sheltered coves and safe beaches.
Cala Ratjada began as a fishing village and port but over the years has developed into a popular tourist destination. The local beach which is called Son Moll extends for 175m along which runs a promenade, while on the hill overlooking the resort you'll see the Palace of Can March
Cala Ratjada is also ideal as a touring base. The rocky east coast of Mallorca has plenty of caves including the Arta Caves. The island's capital, Palma is also well worth checking out or there's no better way of getting a true feeling of Mallorca than heading along the coast or inland and discovering some sleepy Spanish villages.
