  • Thank you for a great service in Melbourne. Exceptional service, fuss free, and very competitive pricing. Nothing did go awry, so would contract again without hesitation. Many thanks.

  • This is the second time that I have used Nova car Hire and I will definitely be using them again. I think good service needs to be rewarded with repeat custom.

Car Hire at Wellington Airport

Wellington International Airport (previously known as Rongotai Airport)is located 8km from the centre of Wellington in the suburb of Rongotai. Wellington is the third busiest airport in New Zealand (after Auckland and Christchurch) handling more than 5 million passengers annually. It has a reputation for occasionally bumpy landings, even in larger aircraft, because the Cook Strait channels the wind to produce strong gusts, particularly in pre-frontal north-westerly conditions.

About Wellington

Those who know these things tell us that Wellington is the world’s coolest capital. A mix of exceptional museums and cultural centres, heart-stopping scenery, and a lively social scene makes it difficult to resist. Once you’ve arranged your car hire in Wellington, check out such attractions as the National Museum of New Zealand - Te Papa Tongarewa on the waterfront, the cable car to the Botanic Garden, and the Zealandia bush.

You won't go hungry, either. Wellington has been home to four out of five recent winners of New Zealand’s Best Restaurant award, so fine food is never far away. The city is said to  have more pubs and eateries per head than New York, capitalising on the fertile seas and agricultural land that surrounds it. Wellington is also New Zealand's craft beer and coffee capital.
