No trip to Mexico City would be complete without a visit to Chapultepec Zoo. It's located in the first section of Chapultepec Park near the Museum of Anthropology. It was founded on the 6th of July, 1923 by the well known biologist Alfonso L. Herrera. You'll find all types of creatures, both great and small, here. It's one of the few zoos in the world where pandas have been successfully bred in captivity.
