Jordan – The Gem of The Middle East
The Middle Eastern country of Jordan, also referred to as the Hasemite Kingdom of Jordan, borders countries Israel, Syria, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. The entrance to the city is quite spectacular – you enter via the Siq which is a narrow canyon with 300ft high cliffs. Don't forget to visit the giant amphitheatre, the temples and tombs here, all of which have been carved out of rock.
And remember, no trip to Jordan would be complete without a visit to the Dead Sea.
