Driving to Liverpool
From Bolton:
Leave Bolton by taking the A-666 for 7.5 km and as you approach Manchester head for the M-61. Travel for 2 km and then turn left onto the M-60, following it for 5 km before taking exit 12 towards Salford, Liverpool, Warrington, Birmingham and Chester.
Continue to follow signs for Liverpool, Warrington, Birmingham and Chester and this should get you onto the M-62. Follow the M-62 for 38 km before taking exit 4 to reach the A-5080 (called Bowring Park Road). Follow the road until you enter Liverpool then follow signs for the city centre.
From Manchester:
Leave Manchester by taking the M-602 for 6.5 km and then traveling along the M-62 motorway for 38 km. After this, take the exit 4 onto the A-5080 (called Bowring Park Road) and follow the road until you enter Liverpool.
From Preston:
Leave Preston by taking the A-6 for 4.5 km and as you approach Leyland you reach a roundabout where you take the first exit onto the M-65 motorway. Then head to Exit 1 in the direction of Lancaster, Liverpool and Birmingham.
At the next roundabout take the third exit onto the M-6 for 21 km and then head to exit 26 in the direction of Skelmersdale, Liverpool and Southport. As you approach Wigan you reach a roundabout where you take the first exit onto the M-58 motorway. Travel for 19 km and then follow exit signs for Bootle and All Docks .
As you approach Seaforth, head for the A-59 and follow the A-59 for 2.5 km to enter Liverpool.
