Getting to and from

East Midlands Airport is situated south west of Nottingham and can be reached by taking the M1 Motorway southbound and exiting at Junction 24 and following signs to the airport.

Alternatively, if travelling from the south east you can take the M42 Motorway northbound, which becomes the A42 and East Midlands Airport is located just off the A42 and is well signposted.

Driving To

To Nottingham:
Depart East Midlands Airport by following signs for Nottingham onto the A453. Stay on the A453 for over 8 miles, continuously following signs for Nottingham, and after passing through Clifton you will come to a roundabout where you take the 2nd exit onto Clifton Lane.

Next, stay in the left hand lane and veer left to follow signs for West Bridgford and then take the 1st exit at the next roundabout to get onto the B679. You have now arrived in Nottingham so continue to follow signs to reach the city centre.

To Derby:
Leave East Midlands Airport via the A453 road and follow signs for Nottingham, Derby until you come to the 3rd roundabout where you take the 1st exit onto the A50, signposted Stoke, Derby.

Travel on the A50 for about 6 miles before exiting at Junction 2 in order to join the A6. Continue along the A6 for just over 2 miles and you will enter the city of Derby, following signs for City Centre.

To Leicester:
From East Midlands Airport, take A453 road and at the 2nd roundabout take the 2nd exit to join the M1 Motorway following signs for London, Leicester. Travel along the M1 for just over 9 miles before exiting at Junction 22 and following signs for Leicester to join the A50.

Stay on the A50 for about another 9 miles and continue to follow signs for Leicester to arrive in the city centre.
