Getting to and from

Cardiff Airport is situated just 10 km southwest of Cardiff city. From the airport take the port road and at the roundabout take the third exit onto the A-4226. Drive for 9.5 km before taking a right turn onto the A-48. Travel for 5 km until you come to a roundabout where you take the third exit onto the A-4232 for 4.5 km.

At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto the B-4267 and this will lead you into Cardiff city.

Driving To

To Birmingham:
From the airport take the port road and at the roundabout take the third exit onto the A-4226 for 9.5 km. After this take a left turn onto the A-48 and drive for 4.5 km. At the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A-4232 for 5.5 km and then at the roundabout take the third exit onto the M-4 motorway for 33 km.

Leave the M4 at exit 24 and follow signs for The Midlands, Monmouth, Trefynwy, Newport and Casnewydd. This will take you onto the A-449 which you should follow for 21 km before joining the A-40. Travel along the A-40 for 28 km and at the first roundabout you come to; take the second exit onto the A-449 for 1 km.

At the next roundabout, take the third exit onto the M-50 motorway. Drive along the M-50 for 34 km before looking to join the M-5 motorway. After traveling on the M-5 for 60 km, head for exit 1 and as you leave the motorway take the A-41 and this will lead you into the city of Birmingham.

To Bristol:
From the airport take the port road and at the roundabout take the third exit onto the A-4226 for 9.5 km. After this take a left turn onto the A-48 and drive for 4.5 km. At the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A-4232 for 5.5 km and then at the roundabout take the third exit onto the M-4 motorway for 66 km.

Leave the M-4 at exit 19 and follow signs for Bristol and Ring Road. At the roundabout take the first exit onto the M-32 motorway. After travelling for 6.5 km on the M-32, follow exit signs towards Bristol City Centre.

To Swansea:
From the airport head take the port road and at the roundabout take the third exit onto the A-4226 for 9.5 km. Next, take a left turn onto the A-48, followed by an immediate right turn onto the M-4.

Drive for 49 km along the M-4 before leaving at exit 42 and following signs for Swansea and Abertawe. Take the A-483 towards Swansea and after 2 km you will arrive in the city of Swansea.
