Driving From
From Birmingham:
Leave Birmingham by taking the M-5 motorway and after driving for 59 km you come to a roundabout where you take the second exit to get onto the M-50 motorway.
Travel for 34 km before coming to a roundabout where you take the first exit onto the A-449. At the next roundabout take the third exit onto the A-40 and follow this road for 28 km. Next, head for the A-449 and follow it for 21 km before coming to a roundabout where you take the fifth exit onto the M-4 motorway for 14 km.
Head for exit 29 to get onto the A-48 (M) motorway and continue along the A-48 until you come to a roundabout where you take the first exit onto the A-4161. Continue on this road until you arrive in Cardiff.
From Bristol:
Leave Bristol by taking the M-32 motorway for 6 km and then following exit signs for South Wales, Midlands, South West to reach the M-4 motorway. Travel along the M-4 motorway for 47 km before taking exit 29 to join the A-48 (M) motorway.
