Directions from Bristol International Airport
Getting to and fromLeave Bristol by travelling past Bristol City Football Club, following signs for Taunton to reach the A38 road. Travel along the A38 for about 7.5 miles and after entering Potters Hill, at the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto North Side Road, at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit to stay on North Side Road and at the next roundabout take the 1st exit to arrive at Bristol International Airport. Stay on the A38 (continuing to follow City Centre signs) for about 6 miles and upon reaching the Bedminster Bridge Roundabout take the 2nd exit to get onto Commercial Road. Look to take a right onto Wapping Road and then bear left onto Prince Street. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit to Marsh Street, then a right to reach Baldwin Street and another right to Victoria Street in the centre of Bristol city. To Birmingham (& the West Midlands/the North): Next, follow signs for the Motorway M32 and after about 1.5 miles you will join the M32 (signposted London M4). Continue on the M32 for about 5 miles and keep in the left hand lane to join the M4 Motorway. After around 2.5 miles, leave the M4 at Junction 20 and stay in the right hand lane (following signs for The Midlands) to join the M5 Motorway. Drive along the M5 for approximately 70 miles before exiting the motorway at Junction 3 to follow signs for Birmingham (West and Central). At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Quinton Expressway - A456 and stay on this road for about 6 miles, continuously following signs for City Centre, to reach the centre of Birmingham. To London (& the South): Next, follow signs for the Motorway M32 and after about 1.5 miles you will join the M32 (signposted London M4). Continue on the M32 for about 5 miles and keep in the left hand lane to join the M4 Motorway. Travel along the M4 for over 105 miles and this motorway will become the A4 road. Continue on the A4 road and follow all signs for Central London and after passing through the areas of Hammersmith and Knightsbridge you will reach the centre of London having travelled a further 7 miles. To Cardiff (& South Wales): Stay on the A38 (continuing to follow City Centre signs) for about 6 miles and upon reaching the ‘Kings Head Tavern’ Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Bridgwater Road. After around 1 mile, take a left onto the A3029 — Winterstroke Road and remain on the A3029 for about 1.5 miles before joining the A4 at Hotwell Road. Continue on the A4 for about 4 miles to reach the Portway Roundabout where you take the 2nd exit to join the M5 Motorway (signposted The South West, The Midlands, South Wales, London). Keep in the left hand lane; following signs for South Wales and after 1 mile leave the motorway to join the M49 Motorway. Travel along the M49 for over 5 miles and at the roundabout take the 1st exit to follow signs for the M4 Motorway, South Wales. Stay on the M4 for about 8 miles to reach the Brynglas Tunnel. Here, you should branch left onto the A48 (signposted Cardiff E and S) and continue along this road, following signs for Cardiff City Centre. | ||||||
