Getting to and from
Bangkok Airport is easily reached by taking the Viphawdee Rangsit Highway out of Bangkok city centre in a northerly direction and travelling for around 25km.
To central Bangkok:
Leave Bangkok Airport via the Vipawdee Rangsit Highway and head southbound to reach the city of Bangkok after about 25km.
Depart Bangkok Airport by taking the Vipawdee Rangsit Highway and as you approach Bangkok city, look for signs for Highway 4. Take Highway 4 to travel southwest for 80km and then take the Bangpae–Damnoen Saduak Road to arrive in Damnoen Saduak. The market opens at 6am and finishes at 11am so an early start is recommended.
To Phang Nga Bay:
Take the Vipawdee Rangsit Highway south to Bangkok and from there take Highway 402 (Tepkassatri Road from Phuket) to travel west and then exit the highway to join Route 4. This will lead you to the scenic wonders of Phang Nga Bay.
