Directions from Madrid Airport
Getting to and fromMadrid Airport is situated just 15km (9.4 miles) northeast of downtown Madrid. From the airport follow the road until you reach the motorway N-100, follow that for approximately 2 km (1.25 miles). Head for Avenida De América/A-2 and follow this road for about 6 km (3.8 miles). Take the exit 4A in the direction of Valencia to arrive in Madrid. Follow the signs for the city centre, which is approximately another 6 km (3.8 miles). Driving ToTo Zaragoza: From Madrid Airport, follow the exit road until you reach the motorway N-100/M-14 for approximately 1 km (0.6 miles). Change to the M-22 for about 1.5 km (1 mile) to take the exit in the direction of San Fernando de Henares, C. T. Coslada. Take the open road to join the motorway M-21. |

When approaching San Fernando de Henares leave the motorway and continue for 3 km (2 miles) and take the M-50 and head towards exit 11 in the direction of Guadalajara, Zaragoza. This will get you onto the R-2 where you should continue for almost 45 km passing on the way one toll booth called Marchamalo. Follow signs for Autovía De Madrid/A-2/E-90, following directions for Zaragoza, Barcelona, Logroño and this will get you onto the E-90. Take the motorway AP-2/E-90 and head towards exit Exit 317A in the direction of Zaragoza, El Portillo, Logroño. Follow the final motorway AP-68/E-804 for 2.5 km (1.5 miles to arrive in Zaragoza. Follow the signs for city centre. To Toledo: From Madrid Airport, follow the exit road until you reach the motorway N-100/M-14 for approximately 1 km (0.6 miles). Change to the M-22 for about 2.5 km (1.5 mile) and take the M-40/E-5/E-90 for about 8 km (5 miles) before leaving the motorway for the open road M-31. The M-31 will change into a motorway and you should stay on it for 5 km (3 miles) before taking exit 16. Then follow the road for about 3 km (2 miles) and then turn right onto the A-42 motorway. After 39 km the A-42 will cease to be a motorway but keep on this road for another 10 km (6.2 miles) before turning left on the TO-20. Travel for 1 km and you will arrive in your destination Toledo. To Salamanca: From Madrid Airport, follow signs for Burgos, Coruña (A), Recintos Feriales. This will get you on the M-11. Stay on motorway 11 for 9 km (5.6 miles). Follow the signs for Paseo Castellana and this will get you onto the Carretera De Colmenar Viejo. Head to exit 10A, 10B, Avenida Ilustración, A Coruña. Take the Avenida De La Ilustración/M-30; this road will change in to a motorway and you should take exit 25 in the direction of A Coruña heading for the M-40. From the M-40 take exit 46 in the direction of A Coruña. Head for the motorway A-6 and stay on this road for 30 km (18.75 miles). Head for the AP-6 and follow that road for about 40 km (25 miles) before taking exit 81 for Villacastín, Avila, Segovia. Follow the road until you reach toll booth Villacastín. After the toll booth follow the AP-51 for 22 km (13.75 miles). Take the N-110 as you are approaching Ávila and take the N-501. After 90 km the N-501 ceases to be a motorway but keep on this road until you arrive in Salamanca. | ||||||
