Getting to and from Florence
Driving to Florence
From Pisa:
Leave Pisa in the western direction by following signs for the airport and then taking the A-11/E-76 for 60 km. Continue on the E-76 for 22 km and as you approach Migliarino, head for the SS1 Via Aurelia for 5 km. Travel along the SS1, which is now called Via Aurelia Nord for 3 km to reach Florence.
From Bologna:
Take the southwest direction from Bologna by taking the SP-569 and then head for the Corsia Ovest Tangenziale. Next, take the A-14 motorway in the direction of Milano, Firenze (Florence).
Exit the A-14 by following signs for Firenze (Florence) and take a right turn onto the A-1 / E-35 for 86km. Take a right turn onto A-11 / E-76 for 4.5km.
After the toll booth, head for the Via Zoroastro Da Peretola and as you enter the city of Firenze (Florence) follow signs for the city centre.
From Perugia:
Leave Perugia town in a northwest direction by taking the Rac.do Autostradale Perugia-A1 motorway. Take the A-1 in the direction of Arezzo, Siena, Firenze (Florence) for 34km before heading for the Rac.do Autostradale Bettolle-Perugia and follow this road for 19 km.
Leave the Rac.do Autostradale Bettolle-Perugia by taking the exit for Firenze (Florence), Roma. Follow signs towards Chianciano Terme, Montepulciano, Torrita Di Siena, Bettolle, Firenze (Florence), Roma and as you approach Bettolle take a left turn onto the SP-327 / SS-327
After 1 km, turn left onto the A-1 / E-35 motorway and travel towards Firenze (Florence) for 85 km before exiting the motorway at signs for Firenze Sud. Take a right turn onto the SP-127 and after passing the toll booth you will enter the city of Florence.
