Getting to and from

Catania Airport is situated just 8 km south of downtown Catania. Take the airport road called Via Fonatanarossa. Turn right onto the SP70 and after 2km turn right onto Via Acquicella Porto and then turn right again onto Via Domenico Tempio.

Continue for 1 km and as you enter the city follow signs for the city centre.

Driving To

To Siracusa:
Catania Airport is situated just 8 km south of downtown Catania. Take the airport road called Via Fonatanarossa. Turn right onto the SP70 and after 3.5 km take a left turn to head for the motorway E-45. After 7 km the motorway ends and you should continue along the E-45 for 2.5 km.

Turn right onto the SS114 for 1.5 km and then take the SS114/E-45 for 40 km. Take a right turn onto Via Per Floridia the SS124 for 3.5 km. Continue along Viale Ermocrate and as you reach the town follow signs for the centre.

To Enna:
Catania Airport is situated just 8 km south of downtown Catania. Take the airport road called Via Fonatanarossa. Turn right onto the SP70 and after 3.5 km head for the motorway E-45 for 1 km. Take the exit in the direction of Palermo. Head for A19/E932 and follow this road for 71 km.

Next, exit this road by following signs for Exit Enna, Enna, Anas nucleo manutenzione, Polizia Stradale and follow the open road for 1.5 km. Turn right onto the SS117BIS and after 1 km take a left turn onto SS121.

Travel for 2 km before taking another left turn onto SP2 for 1.5 km. Continue along the Strada Provinciale Panoramica Casin/SP28 and as you enter the town follow signs for the centre.

To Messina: Catania Airport is situated just 8 km south of downtown Catania. Take the airport road called Via Fonatanarossa. Turn right onto the SP70 and after 3.5 km head for the motorway E-45 for 23 km. As you approach Acireale head for the A-18/E-45 for 76 km.

Next, head for the E-45/E90 for 3.5 km and then follow exit signs for Messino centro, Messino centro and continue along the E-45/E-90 for another 2 km. Turn right onto Via Giuseppe Garibaldi for 0.5 km to arrive in the centre of Messina.
