Driving to Ancona

From Rimini:
From Rimini leave in a southerly direction by taking the A-14/E-55 motorway towards Bologna and Ancona for 88 km.

Exit the motorway by following signs for Ancona Nord. Pass a toll booth and follow signs for Ancona, Matelica, Cupramontana, Cingoli, Jesi, Fabriano, Genga and Pesaro.

After this you join the SS-76 for 3 km before turning right onto the SS-16 for 5.5 km. Next, take a left turn onto Via Metauro road, then turn right onto Via Conca for 1.5 km and then turn right again to reach the Via Flaminia road. Drive along this road for 2 km and you will enter the town of Ancona.

From Pescara:
Leave Pescara in a northerly direction by taking the SS-16DIR C / E-80 motorway towards Chieti and Roma for 3.5 km. Exit the motorway by following signs for Ancona and turn right onto the SS-16. Drive for 10.5 km before taking a left turn onto the SP-2 in order to join up with the A-14 motorway towards Roma, Ancona, Bari.

After travelling for 135 km you will pass through the Citta San Angelo toll booth. Follow signs for Ancona by turning right onto the SS-16 for 4 km. As you approach Ancona take the Asse Nord-Sud for 5 km to reach Ancona city.

From Perugia:
Leave Perugia in a south easterly direction by taking the Via San Girolamo road for 1 km. Next, take a right turn followed shortly by another right turn which should get you onto the Strada Vicinale Casa Ciuffini road. Turn left onto the Strada Pallotta road and then take another left onto the Via Assisana.

Look to take a right to join the A-1 motorway (called Rac.do Autostradale Perugia) and follow signs for Perugia Prepo, Assisi, Foligno, Cesena, Firenze, Roma, Arezzo and Siena for 3 km. Exit this motorway by following signs for San Egidio, Assisi, Foligno, and Cesena and turn right onto the SS-3BIS/E-45 for 5 km.

Leave this road via exit signs for Valfabbrica and Ancona and then take the SS-318 for 27 km before turning right onto the SP-245 for 7 km. Next, take a left turn onto the SR-444/SS-444 for 1.8 km before joining the SR-3/SS-3 (called Via Flaminia Nord) for 8.5 km.

You should then look to join the SS-76, which you travel on for 73 km before joining the SS-16 for 5 km.

After this, take a left turn onto the Via Metauro road, a right turn onto the Via Conca for 1 km and then turn right twice to get onto the Via Flaminia road - after 2 km you will reach the town of Ancona.
