Getting to and from
Shannon Airport is ideally located, 25 km south of Ennis city centre in the county of Clare and 27 km northwest of Limerick city.
The airport is accessible by road (via the N19 Motorway), bus and taxi.
Driving To
To Ennis:
From Shannon Airport, head for the N19; turn left onto the N18 for 18 km. As you enter the town of Ennis follow signs for the city centre.
To Limerick:
From Shannon Airport, head for the N19; turn right onto the N18 for 14 km. As you enter the city of Limerick follow signs for the city centre.
To Tipperary:
From Shannon Airport, head for the N19; turn right onto the N18/E20. Follow the E20 till you arrive on Henry Street for about 13 km. Turn right onto Sarsfield street. Head for William Street and follow the N24. After 40 km you enter the city of Tipperary follow signs to the city centre.
To cork:
From Shannon Airport, head for the N19 turn right onto the N18/E20 for 13 km. Take a right turn onto the N20. Follow the N20 for 93 km. As you enter the city of Cork follow signs for the city centre.
