Lorient Airport – A Brief Guide
Lorient Airport is known by a couple of different names - Lorient-Lann-Bihoué Airport, Lorient South Brittany Airport and Lorient Bretagne Sud Airport. It's located about 8km west of the French city of Lorient and serves the Brittany area of the country.
Air France opatate flights from here to Paris-Orly and Lyon Saint Exupery while the Irish airline Aer Arann offer seasonal flights to Cork, Galway and Waterford.
It's quite a large terminal building, however passenger facilities are limited. The airport's opening hours are from Monday to Friday 5.30am to 7.30 pm and 9pm to 10.30pm. On Saturdays it's open from 5.30am to 6.30pm and on Sundays 1.30pm to 7.30pm and 9pm to 10.30pm.
