Getting to and from
By Car:
Nice Cote D'Azure Airport - Terminal 1 is situated just 9 km west to southwest of downtown Nice. To get to the airport use the A-8/E-80 motorway, and then head for the national road N-98 and follow signs for the airport.
By Public Transport:
Of course you may not wish to collect your car straight away from the airport, so some directions for getting to and from the airport via public transport can't do any harm.
The cheapest way to travel is by bus, and the ticket office at the airport is in the main car park if you're travelling from the airport, though if you're just getting a single you can pay the driver on entry.
If on the other hand you're heading into the airport you can pick up buses from the main bus station, Nice Ville rail station or Massena Place in the central area of town.
It's around EUR1.30 for single or a EUR4.00 for a day pass (which enables you to go in and out as many times as you need to in 24 hrs). Buses number 23 and 98 go to and from the main bus station in town, while bus number 99 goes to and from the rail station.
If your travelling by night you can get the Noctambus, which will bring you to and from the JC Bermond stop ('Station JC Bermond' in French).
