Directions from Marseille AirportGetting to and from Marseille AirportMarseille Airport is situated just 25 km northwest of downtown Marseille and can be reached by taking the motorway D20. Driving ToTo Marseille:From the airport follow signs for the motorway D20 and turn right onto it. Head for the D9 by turning right onto it and travel for almost 2 km before exiting this road in the direction of Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Martigues, Fos-sur-Mer, Pennes-Mirabeau (Les). Follow the open road and take the N113 before heading for the A-7/E714. Travel along the A-7/E714 for 9 km before following signs for the A-7/E-712. |

Continue along this road for 7 km and then look to exit in the direction of Gare Saint-Charles. As you leave the motorway follow the signs for the centre. You can drop off your rental car in Marseille city's Avenue du Prado, Esplanade Saint Charles, Vitrolle and Rabatau. To Avignon:From the airport follow signs for the motorway D20 and turn right onto it. Take a left turn for the N113 and at the roundabout take the second exit onto the D20. As you approach Rognac you reach a roundabout where you take the first exit onto Boulevard De Vallat De La Chapelle. Take a left turn for the Rue Du 4 Septembre and take another left turn for the Boulevard Charles Gounod onto the D-55. Follow the D55 by turning right and at the roundabout take the fourth exit for the D21. Head for the A-7/E-714 motorway and follow it for 56 km. Leave the A-7/E-714 by taking Exit 24 in the direction of Exit Avignon-Sud, Avignon-Sud, Avignon, Caumont, Châteaurenard. Continue along the open road until you pass the toll booth and then head for the N7, called Route De Marseille. Travel along this road for 7 km and you will enter the city of Avignon. If you want to drop off your hire car in Avignon, you can do so at the TGV Rail Station. To Aix en Provence:From the airport follow signs for the motorway D20 and turn right onto it. Follow onto the D9 by turning right again and continue along the D9 for 18 km. Leave this road by following exit signs for Aix-en-Provence, Milles (Les) and this will take you onto the A-51 motorway. Continue along the A-51 for 2.5 km and then take the N-296 exit in the direction of Aix-en-Provence-Jas de Bouffan. As you leave the motorway you enter the city of Aix-en-Provence, following signs for the city centre. You can drop off your car hire in Aix en Provence town centre. There is also a return location in Aix en Provence Rail Station. To Toulon:From the airport follow signs for the motorway D20 and turn right onto it. Follow onto the D9 by turning right again and continue along the D9 for almost 2 km. Leave this road by following exit signs in the direction of Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Martigues, Fos-sur-Mer, Pennes-Mirabeau (Les) and this will take you onto the N113. Depart the N113 by following signs for the A-7 and travel for 3 km. Then, take the A-55 for 12.5 km and as you approach Marseille, take the A-50 motorway. Travel along the A-50 for 64.5 km before taking the N-8, called Avenue D'Estienne D'Orves. As you leave the motorway follow signs for Toulon city centre.
