Getting to central Avignon
From the Avignon TGV rail station head for the Route Du Confluent. As you reach the roundabout take the third exit onto Avenue De La Gare follow it for 0.5 km and at the roundabout take the second exit onto the Rocade Charles De Gaulle. Follow it for 2 km heading along the Chemin De Courtine.
Head for the N-100 for slightly less than 1 km and take a right turn onto Porte De L'Oulle following signs for the city centre.
Driving To
To Nimes:
From the Avignon TGV rail station head for the Route Du Confluent. As you reach the roundabout take the third exit onto Avenue De La Gare follow it for 0.5 km and at the roundabout take the second exit onto the Rocade Charles De Gaulle. Follow it for 2 km heading along the Chemin De Courtine.
Head for the N-100 for 32 km and look to follow signs for Montpellier, Nîmes, Roquemaure, Orange. As you approach Remoulins you come to a roundabout where you take the fourth exit onto the A-9/E-15 motorway. Follow the A-9/E-15 for 26.5 km.
Head towards exit 25 and follow signs for Nîmes-Ouest, Nîmes-Ouest, Garons, Arles, Marseille, Alès, Nîmes-Quartiers Ouest. Pass the toll booth and head for the N-113 called Boulevard Du Président Salvador Allende. As you enter the city of Nimes follow signs for the centre.
To Montpellier:
From the Avignon TGV rail station head for the Route Du Confluent. As you reach the roundabout take the third exit onto Avenue De La Gare, follow it for 0.5 km and at the roundabout take the second exit onto the Rocade Charles De Gaulle. Follow it for 2 km, heading along the Chemin De Courtine.
Head for the N-100 for 32 km and follow signs for Montpellier, Nîmes, Roquemaure, Orange. As you approach Remoulins you come to roundabout where you take the fourth exit onto the A-9/E-15 motorway. Follow the A-9/E-15 for 68.5 km.
When you reach exit 30, follow signs for Montpellier-Sud, Prés d'Arènes, Lattes, Palavas-les-Flots. As you leave the motorway take the Avenue De Palavas. As you enter the town of Montpellier follow signs for the city centre.
To Marseille:
From the Avignon TGV rail station head for the Route Du Confluent. As you reach the roundabout take at the third exit a sharp right onto Avenue Pierre Doulle. Follow it for 0.5 km and go along the Rocade Charles De Gaulle for 3.5 km. Head for the N-7 called Avenue Pierre Semard.
Follow the N-7 for 9.5 km. Follow signs for Cavaillon, Marseille. This should get you onto the A-7 motorway. Follow the A-7 for 84 km and look to exit this road by following signs for Gare Saint-Charles. Take Avenue Du Général Leclerc, as you enter the city of Marseille follow signs for the city centre.
