Getting to and from Sydney City - New South Wales

Sydney City - New South Wales capital city is located on the southeast coast of the country. 
 

Driving to/from Sydney city

From Sydney City - New South Wales to major cities –

To Newcastle
From the city head to the northwest  of the city direction Bradfield highway. Follow Bradfield highway for 2 km as it changes name to Warringah Freeway follow it for 4.5 km. Head for the pacific highway and turn right onto it for 13 km.

take a right turn onto the Sydney Newcastle Freeway on ramp. Keep to the left on the Sydney Newcastle Freeway. At the roundabout take the second exit onto the John Renshaw Drive. Continue for almost 20 km.

Take a left turn onto kingstreet as you enter the city of Newcastle follow signs for the centre.

To Canberra
Leave Sydney city in the southwest direction till you get onto the South western motorway.
Follow the South Western Motorway for 27 km. until it changes in the south western freeway follow it for 43 km.

Keep to the right as you head for Hume Highway, follow it for 126 km. continue on the federal highway for 73 km. follow the Northbourne Avenue for 4.5 km. at the roundabout take the first exit onto the Commonwealth Avenue as you enter the city of Canberra follow sing for the city centre.

To Melbourne
Leave Sydney city in the southwest direction till you get onto the South western motorway.
Follow the South Western Motorway for 27 km. until it changes in the south western freeway follow it for 43 km.

Keep to the right as you head for Hume Highway, follow it for 479 km. As you approach Wodonga turn right to follow the Hume freeway for 292 km. take a right turn onto Western Ring Road on ramp. Continue on the Western Ring Road for 5 km.

Head for the Tullamarine Freeway exit. Follow the Tullamarine Freeway maintaining left side for 2.5 km the road continues as the Tullamarine Freeway exit and join the Tullamarine Freeway once more. Head for the citylink for 6 km

Head for the Flemington Road exit this will get you onto the Flemington Road as you enter north Melbourne follow signs for the city centre.
