How to get from Melbourne City Central - Victoria to other major cities —

To Canberra - ACT:
Exit Melbourne in the northern direction heading for Parkville. This should get you onto the Mount Alexander Road. Take right turn onto Citylink on ramp and head for the Citylink keeping left. Follow the Citylink for 6.5 km and continue on the Tullamarine Freeway for 1.5 km.

Head for the Tullamarine Freeway exit which goes over into the Tullamarine Freeway. Head for the Western Ring Road exit follow it for a little more then 1 km before heading for the Western Ring Road and following it for 5 km. Continue onto the Hume Highway exit.

Take a left turn onto the Hume Highway. Follow the Hume Highway for 9 km, continuing on the Hume Freeway for 282 km. As you approach Wodonga take a left turn onto the Hume Highway and follow it for 289 km. take a right turn onto Barton Highway.

Follow Barton Highway for 46 km. At the roundabout take the second exit onto the Barton Highway for 3 km and head for Bellenden Street. This street will change back into Barton Highway. Head for the Northbourne Avenue exit. Follow Northbourne Avenue for 4.5 km.

At the roundabout take the first exit Commonwealth Avenue as you enter the city of Canberra follow signs for the city centre.

To Adelaide - Victoria:
From the city head in a westerly direction for the Docklands Highway. Keep to the right as you take Montague Street. Take a right turn onto West Gate Freeway on ramp. Follow the West Gate Freeway for 10 km. head for the Western Ring Road exit.

Follow the Western Ring Road for 6.5 km. As you head for the Western Highway exit follow that until you turn left onto the Western Highway. Follow the Western Highway for 5.5 km. Head for the Western Freeway for 106 km. Keep left onto the Western Highway for 309 km.

At Pine Hill head for the Dukes Highway for 184 km. Keep to the right this will get you onto the Princes Highway for 19 km. Head for the South Eastern Freeway for 65 km. Continue on the Adelaide Crafers Highway for 8 km.

Keep to the right this should get you onto the Glen Osmond Road. Follow the Glen Osmond Road for 4.5 km. Keep to the left this should get you onto the South Terrace. Take a right turn onto King William Street as you enter Adelaide city follow signs for the city centre.

To Sydney:
Exit Melbourne in a northern direction heading for Parkville. This should get you onto the Mount Alexander Road. Take right turn onto Citylink on ramp and head for the Citylink keeping left. Follow the Citylink for 6.5 km. Continue on the Tullamarine Freeway for 1.5 km.

Head for the Tullamarine Freeway exit which goes over into the Tullamarine Freeway. Head for the Western Ring Road exit follow it for a little more than 1 km and then head for the Western Ring Road following it for 5 km. Continue onto the Hume Highway exit.

Take a left turn onto the Hume Highway. Follow the Hume Highway for 9 km. Continue on the Hume Freeway for 282 km. As you approach Wodonga take a left turn onto the Hume Highway and follow it for 479 km. keep to the left as you head for the South Western Freeway.

Follow the South Western Freeway for 41.5 km. Continue for the South Western Motorway for 24.5 km. head for the Princes Highway exit. Take a left turn onto the Princes Highway for 7.5 km. turn right onto Broadway. Take a left turn onto Wattle Street.

Take a right turn onto Fig Street. Keep to the right this will get you onto the Western Distributor. Continue onto King Street and as you enter the city of Sydney follow signs for the city centre.
