From Cairns Airport take the Airport Avenue. At the traffic lights take a left turn onto Sheridan Street / Captain Cook Highway. Follow this road until you enter the city of Cairns. Follow signs for the city centre.

Driving To

To Brisbane:
From the airport take the Airport Avenue. At the traffic lights take a left turn onto Sheridan Street / Captain Cook Highway. Follow this road until you enter the city of Cairns. From Cairns city, head south for the Bruce Highway. Follow the Bruce Highway for 342 km.

As you reach Mount Louisa take a left turn onto Woolcock Street for 4.5 km then take a right turn onto the Flinders Highway. Follow Flinders Highway for 5.5 km and head for Bruce Highway which you follow for 1330 km.

As you approach Bald Hills the name of the road changes to Gympie Arterial Road which you follow for 5 km. Then continue on Gympie Road for 9 km. Follow Lutwyche Road for 2.5 km passing through Windsor. Continue on the Bowen Bridge Road and head for Brunswick Street.

Take a right turn for Barry Parade. Turn left onto Gipps Street followed by a right turn onto Ann Street. Turn left onto Queen Street and follow signs for the centre.

To Port Douglas:
From the airport take the Airport Avenue. At the traffic lights take a right turn onto Sheridan Street / Captain Cook Highway. Follow the Captain Cook Highway for 55 km and take a right turn onto the Port Douglas Road.

After 4 km take a right turn onto Davidson Street and follow it for 1 km. Turn left onto Macrossan Street and as you enter the town of Port Douglas follow signs for the centre.

To Normanton:
From the airport take the Airport Avenue. At the traffic lights take a right turn onto Sheridan Street / Captain Cook Highway. Keep to the left to join the Kennedy Highway at Smithfield. Follow the Kennedy Highway for 243 km.

At Minnamoolka take a right turn onto the Gulf Developmental Road. Follow the Gulf Developmental Road for 445 km and take a right turn onto the Burke Developmental Road which you follow for 7 km.

As you enter the town of Normanton follow signs for centre.
