Vancouver – is the biggest city in western Canada and is also Canada’s 3rd largest city. The city first came to prominence during the Fraser Canyon Gold Rush during the 1860s. Today it is the most significant port in North America and it was also rated 3rd highest standard of living for a city after Zurich and Geneva.

Ottawa – was chosen as Canada’s capital by Queen Victoria as a compromise between Montreal and Toronto.
