Just a note to say how good the arrangements were in South Africa. We picked up an 8 seater minibus from National at Port Elizabeth and dropped it off in Cape Town. The staff at PE were quick, efficient and very pleasant. We had a little problem at Cape Town when we picked up a smaller car as the agent could not understand the paperwork and thought we had no insurance cover provided. We eventually sorted it our and apart from that everything went great.

I was surprised to get a wicked VW polo to run around in while holidaying in New Zealand, as the rugby world cup was on most car rental companies were charging a fortune, Nova's prices were definitely cheaper, and the service outstanding. From now on Nova will be my # 1 selection for car rental and will definitely recommend Nova to everyone, well done.

We have used Nova twice now for overseas car hire and they will be the first place for us in the future. The service and help has been great, and in 2008, when I had a problem with the first party hire company, Nova sorted it for me quickly and with a positive outcome.

Once again, we were very happy with Nova in Italy on June 10th. We were in 7 and at first the minivan we were given was a little tight. But our hostess at Maggiore/Alamo Katia Bossi at Linate helped us out Big Time. We were reassigned a little larger van which helped us out a great deal for the next 3 weeks.

This is the second time in 4 years I've used Nova for vacationing in Italy and both times have been trouble free, both at the counter and on the road. Thanks again for the trouble free vacation and excellent rate.

This is the second time my wife and I have used Nova car hire. We rented a car from the Cape Town airport 15 to 18 June 2011.

This was our second time using Nova Car Hire for renting a vehicle in Europe. On both trips, one to Ireland and one to Italy, we were able to easily book the rental online and had no difficulty with picking up the car in our arrival cities. Nova's rates have been significantly lower than renting directly through the car rental company. We will not hesitate to use Nova in the future or to recommend their services to friends.

I just want to email you and express our thanks for a seemless rental process for our recent long weekend in New Zealand. We tried to book with Nova last year but no-one had a car for us but we had better luck this time.

The rate was better than I could get as a member of Thrifty's loyalty programme, and it was no issue to get thrifty to add my member number to the booking. Your insurance was also way less than it would have been to add the daily comprehensive insurance cover.

Thanks again, and we'll definitely try Nova first before anyone else for our next rental car booking

Renting from Nova was a very positive experience. Especially since we picked up at Rome Airport on April 21st & have not had the best experiences there with other rental companies. We were lucky enough to get a brand-new vehicle that more than met our needs. The Ireland reservation office was most helpful and prompt. The drop-off in Florence was easy. Definitely will use Nova again & recommend to others.

I first used Nova in 2005 following a recommendation from a friend and have rarely used another car hire website since then.

I have found Nova a pleaure to deal with. Flawless service. I still remember the time in 2006 when I tried to rent a car in Montpellier during a national holiday and a call through to one of your customer service agents opened all doors.

Whatever you are doing, please continue doing it! I cannot praise Nova too highly!

I was concerned about hiring a car from a relatively unknown website, especially as I was returning the car to a different location and did not want to get surcharged. However everything was excellent - nice little car, full tank, good value. Could have been cleaner on the outside but lovely inside. Excellent efficient service. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience renting a car from NovaCarHire in at the Shannon Airport in April 2011. The car was immaculate, it was diesel fuel (which was very cost effective), and the gentleman that picked us up at the airport, to transport us at the airport to and from the rental office was vert helpful and friendly. When booking the car online, the web folks got back to me immediately when I had a few questions prior to arrival. Your company came highly recommended by a friend and I can see why. I don't want to discredit my own country, in the last 17 years I have only had difficulty solving similar stiuations like these, especialy in my own country (South Africa). It is so refreshing to see and experience the swift responses I had with you. I am truly blessed to have dealt with you, I just wish circumstances were different, rather to have experience your response on insurance claim, I can only imagine how easy it would have been dealing with you in this regard. I would recommend your services to any one anywhere else in the world.

We do very seldom experience great service rendering in SA, it's such a dilemma, but nevertheless I am fortunate - just can't express my gratitude enough, with most of our government services and customer relations in SA is a mess, it takes ages to solve any problems, and then in the end to have no result. Only to be on the losing side.

It all worked sublimely well, both at the UK end and in South Africa. Europcar were very helpful in facilitating a slight change in drop-off location (city centre rather than airport) and in supplying a free atlas of South Africa. It couldn't have been better.

I would just like to add that I was impressed with your service, from the web page, which incidentally is well organised and extremely user friendly, service at the Car Hire counter at OR Tambo, very high standard of the vehicles, right to the end when we dropped the vehicle off and the complimentary SMS shortly thereafter.

You made it so simple. We had given up hiring a rental because it was so difficult and you were made to feel like you were an accident waiting to happen (never had one).

It was a five minute process to pick up the car and two minutes to return.

We were upgraded for no extra cost and this was the "icing on the cake"

Thankyou NovaCar Hire you have restored our faith in Rental Car Hire and we will gladly use your services again. Great friendly staff.

Given the service we have received in the past from staff and vehicles you score a 15 out of 10. I don't think any changes are required.

Just to say as always a trouble free rental. I have been using nova for car rentals in the U.S.A. this is about the 6th rental. The price has always been competitive particularly with the inclusion of insurance. The car companies used mainly Alamo and National have offered very good almost new cars with good service.

I would like to commend one of your advisors.

Her name is Jo & I have just ended a conversation with her.

I was concerned that my imminent car hire had been double-booked, even though I had received no confirmation of the first attempt, my credit card had been debited for both the car & additional insurance.

Jo quickly ascertained that there were 2 identical bookings (same day/place/group) + additional insurance.

She then cancelled the earlier of the 2 bookings, for which I had had no confirmation, and assured me that my card would be credited with the return of my deposit & the insurance premium paid.

She was extremely polite, courteous, efficient & understandable, a very pleasant change these days, when dealing with call centres!

I congratulate you if Jo is typical of the standard of your advisors!

I just spent 16 days using the service of EuropCar of Cap Town airport via Novacarhire/.

All perfect, ready and friendly.

At the last day went we gave the car back an agent drop us at the door of the terminal in order not to have to walk.

This is really the first time I got such a service. and no surprise, all cost was included.

Just got back from our European trip and I must admit I had some reservations about our vehicle being ready for us when we arrived in France. I was particularly concerned that an automatic vehicle would not be available.

Apart from the fact that there was a 2 hour delay all went well and in fact we were upgraded from a small Citroen sedan to a much bigger Citroen wagon with a wonderful full screen GPS which was a godsend. The hire company also reimbursed the cost of our morning tea while we were waiting for the car.

Great car and great service and particularly happy there was no extra cost for dropping the vehicle off at a different location some hundreds of kilometers distant.

We're just back from KL where we hired for a week - not realising our trip coincided with the Malaysian Moto GP. Couldn't find an available car, Nova came up with the goods in 15 minutes and found two child seats of the right sizes as well. All done incredibly professionally at a good price. An Australian booking a Malaysian car hire through an Irish company - that's real globalisation for you, and it works.

I am very content with Nova Car Hire.

This was the second time (2009 & 2010) I have used Nova Car Hire for my car hire in the United States. On both occasions it has been a faultless experience and very competitively priced. There is a good range of choice for whatever the customer is seeking as Nova car hire appear to 'broker' for several of the major rental companies so there is no problem getting large vehicles, people carriers, soft-tops, or other styles if the regular saloon body type doesn't fit the bill. Personally I only need a mid or full-size saloon (sedan) with one driver, but I hate having 'excesses' on the insurances, and was able to get a very good value price for an full-size rental from Alamo that had all the insurances and liabilities included and no excesses whatsoever.

While the car rental companies themselves are not the responsibility of Nova Car, it would be silly for Nova Car to arrange car hire with poor quality companies. My experience with Alamo at the destination was very good. I know Alamo is a very big rental company so should have things weighed off, but just because a company is big doesn't make them good at what they do, particularly in America where business processes can be notoriously inefficient. Pick-up and return (at Charlotte, North Carolina) were both efficient and friendly. In probably over 20 car rentals I have had in the U.S. this was the first time I was invited to choose (in my own time) whichever car I wanted from all of the full-size cars they had available.

Assuming the level and quality of service continues, I shall have no hesitation in placing my business with Nova Car Hire in the future.

I cannot tell you how happy we are we using your company. When we arrived in Rome, our EXACT vehicle was waiting and this was important because we were three couples. Too many times I have checked in only to find a "replacement" vehicle. The check in was easy and quick. I talked to others who were using Hertz and they were told they had a three hour wait to get their car. After flying all night, that is not what you want to hear. We were on our way in less than 45 minutes. We were aware we were renting a larger than normal vehicle but your company found us a price almost $1,000 LESS than Hertz. Having the right vehicle made our trip so enjoyable.

We would not hesitate a second to use Nova in the future.

We have used Novacar twice this summer and would just like to say the service in both rentals was excellent. Everything went smoothly and the service was excellent.

Europcar in Toulon was brilliant and Budgetcar in Brindisi was good, once the person manning the desk was found! Thank you.

The car Hire was one of the easiest and friendliest I have ever had in Bangkok.

I am there every couple of months and the Customer Service, the condition of the car, and the ease of pick up and drop off was outstanding.

And by the way - I have NEVER had a follow up email from any Car Hire company before asking how it went or for feedback - Congratulations!! for top customer service.

Have to say we were very impressed!

The staff at the Budget desk at Florence airport were the best I have encountered when picking up a car. Pleasant and friendly and not at all pushy about extra insurance etc.

Glad we took out the extra insurance with you.

My first use of Nova (recommended by a friend) and will use again.

I’ve used Nova twice for 15 day car rental in Italy – summer 2009 and 2010. Both times Nova offered the most user friendly web-site plus additional features such as flexible booking amendment options and excess reduction. I also like being able to easily contact a real person if required – I’ve only done this once but the call was answered promptly and managed professionally.

The service was excellent at the PISA airport. My flight was a little late but Francesco had already been by the airline and when I got there he took care of me and had everything ready to go. Last week we rented a car through your company and arranged to collect it from Avignon airport, this is a tiny airport with very few facilities, but the service we received from yourself and Europcar at the airport was excellent. The car was brand new and the collection procedure was professionally handled. We had been delayed for 2 hours by a French air traffic controller dispute and the Europcar desk was due to be closed on our eventual arrival. We were very pleased to find that the desk had remained open to deal with us.

Indeed the price quoted was the price charged and the the people at the rental agency in Cyprus were very freindly and efficient. I had always used NOVA CAR HIRE for my car rental requirements before; in Ireland, Wales, England and Scotland and the experience has always been excellent. Once I even got a free upgrade.

Just a quick note 2 say that the car hire you arranged for us in Portugal (with Aurigacrown) was not just trouble free but actually a very pleasant experience!

I had 2 change the named driver as my husband had hurt his back & did not want to drive- this was done with no fuss & at no extra charge, nor was there an extra charge when we informed them that we would be taking the car across the border to Spain.

The car type was exactly the one ordered & was clean & in a good condition (not always the case when hiring cars abroad).
The staff were friendly, helpful & efficient.

Really pleased with the service you provided. Not only was it one of the cheapest quotes, I specifically enter to know which firm I would be hiring from before proceeding with the booking. I was flying with easyjet and specifically didn't want europcar as I knew there would be a very long queue!

I also very last minute tried to order snow chains and Nova car dealt with this and snow chains were waiting for me!

Everything was just fine!

When you arrive, tired after a long flight, it's important that everything is as agreed,
because you don't have the energy to discuss.

When we arrived in Cape Town, the car was waiting for us, with the correct papers ready to sign.
It didn't take more than 10 minutes in the office, then we were on our way.

We will certainly use Nova Car Hire again, the next time we go abroad.

I liked the ease of booking a vehicle through your online site. Your site gave the best price for the vehicle that I rented, and I spent a lot of time looking for what I needed. I should have used novacarhire.com first before checking out other sites. The car was picked up at Los Angeles airport and dropped off at Long Beach airport California where I was taking a cruise from and everything went as planned. Other car rental companies wanted quite a large drop off fee to drop the car at another location, Alamo did not charge this.

We were very happy with the service we received on both occasions that we hired a vehicle through your company in Australia. The first was in Melbourne and the car was provided by Europcar and the second was in Sydney in January and the rental company was Redspot. We were very pleased with both the vehicles and the service provided at the counter.

We were entirely satisfied by all aspects of the car rental. In gratifying contrast to the vehicle hired on our last trip from a "big name" rival firm in Dublin, which had worn-out windscreen wipers and an empty wiper water container, so that the first Irish shower led to a worrying period of "flying blind", the car rented from your firm was in perfectly serviceable condition.

The check in and out went very quickly and the staff were extremely efficient and most helpful.

We are visiting Ireland again in just a few weeks for the arrival of a new family member and will definitely hire from Nova RentaCar again.

We have no objection to the above comments being quoted.

Yes, I was indeed pleased with the service rendered to me by your staff right from the start at Cape Town International Airport last Sunday, 13 Dec 09. It was a breeze. Everything was pre-arranged for me like clockwork precision. Your staff at the shaded parking lot was accommodating and arranged for a larger car for me on seeing the large number number of baggage that I had with me. The car I had, a Chevrolet was excellent and brand new. On returning the car one weel later, I had the same experience- hassle-free. Dropped the key and off I went to catch my flight.

Thank you for your enquiry. My recent car hire in Girona (Spain) was entitely satisfactory. Initially the power supply for my GPS did not work, but a replacement car was supplied within 15 minutes. I would definetely use your service again.

Thank you for your mail. I have hired for the second time with Nova this year. Check in was excellent at Europa car i beleive Gatwick.

The lady there I believe christina but dont quote me was so nice.

The gentleman that checked the car on arrival back at gatwick was also very courteous on arrival/ an eastern gentleman so friendly.

I always used to go to Enterprise in the UK.

You can put this letter in what customers say I have no objection.

I shall hire with you again.

A fantastic experience, the staff at Salzburg were courteous and very professional. The car hire lot is exceptionally convenient and pickup, egress and return of the car couldn't have been simpler, I have used Nova in Ireland now that I know you operate on mainland Europe I will be using you again,

I am often given a brand new car, perhaps because there is some record of me never causing damage to any hire car or perhaps due to my senior years, I don’t know.

I hired a Car at the JFK Airport National car Rental, New York, through the Nova car Hire, and I must say, it was a Fantastic experience. Though there was a fair amount of rush, when I did get to the counter, my papers were processed within minutes & as the car which I'd asked for was not there, I was given an upgrade at the same price. we had the SUV for 23 days & did a fair amount of Driving around the US.

I am so impressed with the way Nova Car Hire handled the whole issue of Booking & keeping me updated abt the reservation, I will book ONLY with Nova in future too. Have recommended Nova to all my friends as well. In addition to the service, the Prices were the BEST!

Another major Plus for Nova was, I wanted a GPS, abt which they were very CLEAR to me from day 1, that they cannot assure me of its availabilty, so I carried my own GPS. Normally while booking, we get false assurances, but Nova did not do that, they were frank up front, and that is what i really appreciated the most.

We were directed through Europcar in Edinburgh. Arrived early but still had to wait for half hour as staff were really inundated. Staff very pleasant and apologised for delay. Car was great Renault Clio 4 door only 1.2L but very economical = also very clean - would recommend you and Europcar anytime and we drive in various parts of the world. Seamless service.
