Directions:

Go straight on – ‘Vai ditto’
Turn left – ‘Gira a sinistra’
Turn right – ‘Gira a destra’
Take the first left – ‘Gira alla prima via a sinistra’
Take the second left – ‘Gira alla seconda via a sinistra’
Take the third left – ‘Gira alla terza via a sinistra’
Take the fourth left – ‘Gira alla quarta via a sinistra’
Take the first right – ‘Gira alla prima via a destra’


Handy Phrases:

Excuse me, I’m lost… (!) – Scusi, mi sono perso…
Excuse me, could you give me a hand? - Scusi, posso darle una mano?
Where is the nearest petrol station? – Dove trovo il distributore di benzina più vicino?
How do I get to…? – Sai como andare a…?
What’s the best route? - Qual è la migliore strada
There is an accident – C’è un incidente

Amber light – il luce arancio (di semaforo)
Bridge – un ponte
Bus lane – una corsia d’autobus
Diversion – una deviazione
Dual carriageway – una corsia doppia

Motorway – una superstrad/autostrada

There is one typo on this page.  Go straight on – ‘Vai ditto’ should read 'Vai diritto'
